Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air to launch European service in Spring 2026
Frankfurt to be its first destination
Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest privately held carrier, has announced plans to commence European operations in the spring of 2026.
Effective March 30, 2026, the airline will launch nonstop flights from Tashkent (TAS) to Frankfurt (FRA), Germany. Service to Copenhagen (CPH), Denmark, is scheduled to potentially begin the following day, March 31.
Both routes will operate twice weekly with a block time of 7.5 hours, utilizing narrowbody Airbus A321neo aircraft. Centrum Air currently operates three A321neos, with a fourth delivery expected by the end of this year.
“Opening access to one of the world’s most significant aviation markets has been a key strategic goal,” said Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and CEO of Centrum Air. “These new routes will connect Uzbekistan more closely with Europe and serve as the foundation for our long-term network expansion. We believe passengers will strongly respond to the travel options we are building today and into the future.”
According to the carrier, the European expansion is part of a broader strategy to establish Tashkent as a transit hub. Passengers originating in Germany and Denmark will gain convenient one-stop connections via Tashkent to Centrum Air’s existing destinations, including Bangkok, Seoul, Guangzhou, Phuket, Delhi, and Malé.
Centrum Air is also evaluating additional European destinations, including Manchester, Madrid, Barcelona, and Rome.
