The German leisure airline Condor has announced its return to Georgia for the Summer 2026 season. According to the airline’s official schedule, daily flights between Frankfurt (FRA) and Tbilisi (TBS) are slated to begin on June 15, 2026.

Condor originally entered the Georgian market in May 2022 with a twice-weekly service. That inaugural year, the airline transported 14,000 passengers, according to data from Georgian aviation authorities.

The resumption of this route will address a current gap in connectivity; there are no direct flights between Tbilisi and Frankfurt this winter season. Presently, direct service to Germany is limited to Berlin (operated by Georgian Airways) and Munich (operated by Lufthansa).

Germany remains the most significant EU market for Georgian aviation. In 2024, nearly 444,000 passengers traveled between the two nations, accounting for 6% of Georgia’s total annual air traffic.
