This is the first time the Uzbek flag carrier and ICBC Aviation Leasing (a division of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) to collaborate.

An agreement with CALC (China Aircraft Leasing Company) represents continuation of the partnership, which started in 2023, with the delivery of an A320neo to the airline and continued this summer with the signing of an agreement for the delivery of two A321neos slated for 2026 .

“This transaction further strengthens CALC’s footprint in Central Asia, a market of growing importance within our global portfolio,”

said Winnie Liu, President and CCO of CALC.
