Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines kicks off 10th new international route in 2025 with Bangkok flights
The flights from southern Kazakhstan's hub to the Thai capital will operate twice weekly
Privately-owned Kazakhstan-based carrier SCAT Airlines has launched a new direct flight connecting Shymkent and Bangkok, starting today, December 15.
This marks the airline’s tenth new international route launched in 2025.
The flights from southern Kazakhstan’s major hub to the Thai capital will operate twice weekly, utilizing Boeing 737MAX-8 and B737-800 aircraft.
This rapid network expansion has been fueled by SCAT’s ongoing fleet modernization and the recent opening of a new terminal at its Shymkent hub, which is managed by the carrier.
So far this year, the airline has introduced flights from Shymkent to Munich, Budapest, Seoul, Shanghai, Urumqi, Xi’an, Tbilisi, and now Bangkok.
Additional routes were launched from Astana to Belgrade and from Almaty to Minsk.
