Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest private carrier, has launched a new retailing and distribution system from Indian IT developer Verteil Technologies.

The new platform is based on the NDC (New Distribution Capability) standard developed by IATA. It enables the airline to manage sales through various agencies, both IATA-accredited and non-accredited. Furthermore, the system supports multiple settlement models, including BSP, card-based payments, and modern alternative payment methods tailored for cross-border operations and agency-driven scenarios. This establishes a more robust foundation for expanding distribution while enhancing the flexibility of transaction control, processing, and settlement across different markets, Centrum Air reported.

Integrating with the new platform will also give the airline access to Verteil’s global network of connected travel agencies and sellers.

“Our expanding geography, flight frequency, and leading position in the region require a modern retailing and distribution foundation that gives us speed, flexibility, and control, not only to accelerate our NDC journey, but also to simplify how we connect with and onboard sellers across markets. Verteil’s platform provides us with that foundation and supports our ambition to scale with a more agile and future-ready commercial infrastructure,” said Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, founder and CEO of the parent Centrum Holding.

Currently, the airline operates passenger flights to more than 50 destinations from Tashkent Airport (TAS). The carrier recently announced that starting with the summer schedule, it will launch five new routes to Russia: Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Samara, Sochi, and Ulan-Ude, as well as flights to Astana and Uralsk (Kazakhstan), Osh (Kyrgyzstan), Lahore (Pakistan), Da Nang and Nha Trang (Vietnam), and Frankfurt (Germany). Additionally, domestic service on the Tashkent–Samarkand route will be introduced.
