Centrum Air launches in-flight Entertainment system across its fleet
The cloud-based system is provided by an Australian developer with Kazakh roots
Uzbekistan’s largest private airline, Centrum Air, has begun rolling out its Centrum Media in-flight entertainment (IFE) system across its fleet. This cloud-based platform is already operational on three Airbus A321neo aircraft (registration numbers UK32074, UK32131, and UK32130). It will be deployed across its entire fleet of 13 narrow-body and wide-body Airbus aircraft by the end of this year, the airline promised.
The cloud-based IFE system is provided by Aviasoft Inc., an Australian developer with Kazakhstani roots. To access Centrum Media, passengers just need to scan a QR code to connect to the on-board Wi-Fi portal via their smartphone, tablet, or laptop, with no app installation required.
The platform offers a catalog of movies, podcasts, and magazines, as well as flight information and answers to frequently asked questions. Additionally, passengers can use Centrum Media to order extra snacks and beverages directly from their seats.
Centrum Air emphasized that the cloud-based nature of the platform allows content updates to be performed without taking aircraft out of service. It is also designed to be scalable for future services. In 2026, the carrier plans to launch an official online store featuring branded collectible merchandise.
