Shukhrat Khudaykulov reappointed as Uzbekistan Airways CEO for another three-year term
Shareholders back current management, citing operational results and a steady development strategy
The Supervisory Board and General Meeting of Shareholders of Uzbekistan Airways have officially extended the tenure of Shukhrat Khudaykulov as Chairman of the Management Board (CEO). The decision grants the incumbent leader an additional three years at the helm of the national carrier.
The extension serves as an endorsement of the current management’s performance. Shareholders cited the Uzbeki flag carrier’s recent operational successes and a “steady development strategy” as the primary drivers behind the reappointment.
Khudaykulov has led the airline since 2023. According to the airline, the decision is aimed at further expanding Uzbekistan Airways’ route network, enhancing service quality, and driving long-term growth. Under Khudaykulov’s leadership, the carrier is already modernizing its fleet, strengthening international partnerships, and improving operational efficiency.
