Uzbekistan’s My Freighter signs 25th interline agreement
It has partnered with Singapore Airlines, which operates an extensive route network in Asia and beyond
Uzbekistan’s cargo airline My Freighter has signed its 25th interline agreement, its CEO Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov reports in his social media account. This time, its partner is Singapore Airlines, which operates an extensive route network spanning destinations across Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, the Pacific, Europe and beyond.
“Under the interline framework, cargo can be seamlessly transferred between flights operated by both carriers, offering customers greater routing flexibility, optimised transit options and access to global supply chains,” Abdurakhmanov noted.
Previously, the Uzbek carrier announced the signing of interline agreements with China Southern, SF Airlines, Loong Air, Juneyao Air, Starlux, Canada’s Cargojet , US-based National Air Cargo and American Airlines, Air Serbia, Spain’s Air Europa, Icelandair Cargo, Challenge Group, and Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
My Freighter commenced operations in 2022, and its fleet currently consists of nine Boeing 767-300 and one 757-200 freighters. Today, the airline takes a 40% share of Uzbekistan’s air cargo market but plans to increase its share to 50% next year, Abdurakhmanov said in an interview with Bloomberg.
