Russian carrier launches new summer service to Batumi from six additional cities

Russia-based carrier Red Wings (IATA: WZ) has announced a major expansion of its Georgia flight program. The airline has opened sales for direct seasonal flights to Batumi from six cities – Tyumen, Saratov, Perm, Volgograd, Orenburg, and Chelyabinsk.

Service to the popular Black Sea resort destination will operate under the summer 2026 schedule from June through October, with a frequency of one to two times per week, depending on the route.

With the launch of these new destinations, Red Wings will serve Georgia from a total of 15 Russian cities.

In addition to the newly announced routes, direct flights to Batumi are already offered from Moscow, St Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Krasnodar, and Sochi. Moreover, from June, Red Wings will resume flights on the Nizhny Novgorod – Batumi route.

All flights are operated using 100-seat Superjet 100 regional jets.

Red Wings ranks among the ten largest Russian airlines, specializing in scheduled and charter passenger, business, and cargo transportation. Its route network includes more than 100 destinations.
