FlyOne Armenia marks four years of Russia flights with 740,000 passengers

Since commencing flights to Russian capital in March 2022, FlyOne Armenia (3F), an Armenian low-cost carrier with Moldovan roots, has transported more than 740,000 passengers between Yerevan and Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, operating over 5,000 flights on this route.

Russia remains a core market for the airline; by some estimates, passengers on its Russian routes account for 70-75% of its total traffic, making the country the largest segment of FlyOne Armenia’s network.

In addition to Moscow (with flights to both Vnukovo and Domodedovo), the airline operates flights from Yerevan to St. Petersburg, Sochi, Samara, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg, and Kazan.

Since the outbreak of the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine in 2022, Zvartnots Airport in the Armenian capital has emerged as one of the transit hubs for Russians flying to and from Europe. FlyOne Armenia actively capitalizes on this dynamic, offering connections between its Russian flights and various European destinations.

Since its launch in late 2021, FlyOne Armenia has grown to become the country’s largest airline. According to the carrier, it operates a fleet of 10 narrowbody aircraft from the Airbus A320 family.
